Buffalo News 1/6/2008 - "The Reverend" by s. m. hutton - "click here"

The Reverend

A skeleton marionette hangs

on the wall from a sconce

as I read the ad for a baby store

on his desk “…. for your after birth needs….”

He says, “Job might regret telling God

‘Show your face’”.

And he says, “God may be working through you.”

Is that where he’s been all this time?

It would explain so much.

The trail ahead...

... is only my view from here. Boxing Day, 12/26/2007. I've never been able to see what's down the road, but no matter what happens, the scenery keeps changing. I work daily with this always hidden destination always within my view.
